Frequently asked questions
In order to ensure the best experience with our products, we gather the questions that we are asked most often.
Yes. Our micro-perforated fabric allows significantly more sunlight to reach your skin than conventional swimwear. As a result, the skin beneath the fabric can tan along with the rest of your body, dramatically reducing tan lines.
Yes. Our fabric has been scientifically developed and independently tested in laboratory conditions to verify its tanning performance and sun protection properties.
The fabric provides a UPF rating of approximately 7, meaning it filters part of the sun's UV radiation while still allowing tanning to occur. Because sunlight can reach the skin beneath the fabric, we recommend applying sunscreen underneath your swimwear and reapplying regularly, especially during prolonged sun exposure.
Yes, particularly if you have fair or sensitive skin. For the most even tanning results, we recommend maintaining a similar level of sun protection across your entire body and ensuring that exposed areas are adequately protected.
Results vary depending on your skin type and natural melanin levels. Many customers notice the beginning of a tan after the first few sunbathing sessions, with a more noticeable golden tan developing gradually through regular, responsible sun exposure.
For the best results, we recommend avoiding conventional swimwear during the tanning process, as it can create or reinforce tan lines and may delay achieving a more even overall tan.
Our fabric allows several times more sunlight to pass through than conventional swimwear, which significantly reduces tan lines and, in some cases, may virtually eliminate them. However, results vary according to skin type, sun exposure habits, and how closely our tanning guidelines are followed.
Straps, seams, and elastics naturally block sunlight more than the fabric itself. To minimise these marks, we recommend occasionally adjusting strap positions while sunbathing. If redness appears after sun exposure, allow your skin time to recover before assessing your tanning results.
No. Our swimwear is carefully designed to balance tanning performance with coverage and comfort. Intimate areas are lined for additional coverage, and every print is specifically developed to minimise any appearance of transparency when worn.
No. Our fabrics and prints undergo extensive testing both dry and wet to ensure reliable coverage in and out of the water.
Absolutely. Our products are designed as functional swimwear and can be worn both in and out of the water. They also dry quickly after swimming. To maximise longevity, rinse with fresh water after use and follow the care instructions provided.
No. Our prints are an essential part of the design process. They are carefully developed to optimise the fabric's performance and minimise any appearance of transparency, which is why we do not offer solid-colour designs.
